INGREDIENTS
LAVENDER
Lavender is one of the most versatile essential oils. With a calming and soothing effect, it promotes emotional balance, decongestion and healing in the body.
PETITGRAIN
Petitgrain from the bitter orange tree, distilled from leaves and twigs, is used as a soothing oil. It can be both relaxing and refreshing depending on the accompanying oils. It is known to support periods of high physical demand.
SANDALWOOD
Sandalwood (Indian) is known for its woody sweet aroma. Used for more than 4,000 years, it soothes the digestive system and reduces inflammation, having a calming effect on the nervous system.
Ylang-Ylang
Ylang-ylang has a sweet aroma derived from distilling the flowers of the ylang-ylang tree (Madagascar). It delivers sedative qualities and boosts mood. Commonly used by practitioners to slow breathing, it aids an important element of the sleep process.
Frankincense
Frankincense offers both a fragrance and deep relaxation effect, through slowing and deepening breathing.
Clary Sage
Clary Sage acts to regulate the nervous system and is an impactful muscle relaxant. It also produces a positive mood and uplifts.
RESTFUL SLEEP
A sleep cycle is 90 minutes long and during that time you move through several stages from light to deep sleep. The sleep cycle also determines the best time to wake from sleep. Ideally you should wake during stage one or two, the lighter parts of the cycle, as waking during stage three or four, the deep sleep stages, will leave you feeling groggy and potentially more stressed. Adults should aim for seven to nine hours of sleep per night and Bio-Thrive’s DEEPER SLEEP can aid relaxation and breathing to improve restful sleep.

HOW TO USE
There are a variety of ways that essential oils are commonly used therapeutically: diffusion, topical (skin) application and baths. While there may be common methods of use, it is important to read the label and instructions specific to each essential oil blend to ensure you can gain the best health benefit. DEEPER SLEEP comes to you with a dropper top for ease of dispensing. Please note as this is an essential oil, it may cause staining to oil sensitive materials.
IN A MASSAGE BLEND
Add up to 5 drops of essential oil massaging onto a specific part of the body, such as pulse points at the temples, neck or behind the ears; it may also be applied to the bottoms of feet or insides of the wrist.
IN A BATH
Add 4 to 6 drops of essential oil and mix in the water.
IN A VAPORISER/DIFFUSER OR BURNER
Add 6 to 8 drops of essential oil to a vaporiser/diffuser or burner.
PILLOW
Apply 2 drops to your pillow or a handkerchief/tissue.
